A local court while directing local authorities to submit the details regarding Pervez Musharraf's property Thursday adjourned the hearing of the case till January 21, 2017.Â
Additional Sessions Judge Pervaiz Qadir Memon heard the Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case against Musharraf and directed the authorities to submit reply on issuance of red warrants against the former military dictator.
Assistant Commissioner Islamabad, Mohammad Sohaib appeared before the court of behalf of Deputy Commissioner Islamabad and informed the court that the district magistrate was unable to attend court hearing due to death of his close relative.
The AC submitted details regarding Pervez Musharraf's properties, on which the judge remarked that authorities have not yet confiscated properties of Musharraf in Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case.
The court ordered the district administration to submit reply after confiscating properties of Musharraf. The counsel for the plaintiff argued that police and other departments concerned had failed to implement the arrest warrants against Musharraf as well as court's orders to confiscate his property due to his long absence from attending the case proceedings.
