Rice 250 gmSugar ½ cupKhewra essence few dropsSmall cardamom4-5Khoya½ cupDry fruit½ cupYellow food color1 pinchGreen food color pinchYellow food color pinchSilver papers requiredGulab Jaman/Rasgulla as requiredClarified butter1 cup
Method
Wash 250 gm rice for 2-3 hours. Then add in few drops of khewra essence and boil it. Add in 1 cup clarified butter in pan and sauté 4-5 small cardamom. Add in some water and ½ cup sugar. Cook it and when the sugar is dissolved add in rice, pinch of yellow food color and ½ cup khoya. Now divide the rice in three parts and put a pinch of green ,yellow and zarda color in the rice separately. Add in marba, ½ kg dry fruits. Mix it and simmer. Garnish it with silver paper and dry fruits and serve.
