WEB DESK: Pakistan's first ever Film Festival in New York is in full swing and here is everything you need to know about it: The event is attended by many famous Pakistani celebrities including, Mawra Hocane, Mahira Khan, Saba Qamar, Adeel Hussain, Farieha Altaf, Wajahat Rauf, Yasir Hussain, Sheheryar Munawar, Asim Raza, Tooba Siddiqui, Sanam Saeed, Jerjees Seja, producer Afia Serena Nathaniel and Mehreen Jabbar. 

The event is an initiative by Pakistan's permanent representative for United Nation, Maleeha Lodhi. The event is of two days.

The festival will showcase at cultural center Asia Society screening top-rated Pakistani movies over the weekend. Movies include Dobara Phir Se, Lahore Say Aagay, Actor in law, Pakistan's Oscar nomination, Mah e Mir, Oscar award winner Sharmeen Obaid's animated film, 3 Bahadur, Dukhtar, Dance Kahani and Ho Mann Jahaan. 

The second day happening today, while on the first day, two of Pakistan's famed movies were screened.

Actor In Law was well-received. Director Nabeel Qureshi was in high spirits after the screening and got silly on stage with his friend, Mawra Hocane. Dobara Phir Se cast and crew after the screening went on to the stage to answer the questions asked by the audience.

The other two well-received movies, Dukhtar and Lahore Se Aagay will be screened today.
