ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court ceased Sindh High Court's order of abandoning liquor shop licenses passed the issue to High Court on Wednesday, Aaj News reported. Â
As reported, the three member bench supervised by justice Saqib Nisar heard the case and passed it to High Court. Representative of National Assembly Ramesh Kumar added that,"Drinking and selling liquor has impeded in Hindu religious books and to sell it in the name of religion is illegal".
Justice Saqib Nisar remarked,"The court is not concerned on whether the sale of liquor is legal or illegal".
Sources revealed that the court emphasized on to look into the matter constitutionally and ordered to send the court in High Court again.
Justice Saqib Nisar, however, added that,"The decision should not be mistaken that the Supreme Court has allowed the sale of Liquor".
