PPP senior leader Jahangir Badar passed away

WEB DESK: Senior leader of Pakistan People's Party Jahangir Badar passed away due to cardiac arrest in Lahore, Aaj News reported. 

According to family sources Badar felt chest pain and rushed towards hospital but could not regain his health. He was also a kidney patient.

The (PPP) leader was a senior and one of the closest fellow of Benazir Bhutto. He became a member of National Assembly in 1988, claimed sources.

Badar also served as a minister of Petroleum, Science and Technology reportedly.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed grief and sorrow on sad demise of the senior representative of (PPP).

The chief minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif also expressed deep grief on death of Jahangir Badar.

The chief of Jamat-i-Islami Siraj ul Haq expressed sorrow adding that his contributions are example for future politicians.

The representative of (PPP) Qamar uz Zaman Kaira and political leaders of different parties also expressed heartfelt condolences on demise of senior leader of (PPP).
