RAHIM YAR KHAN: At least 27 feared dead and 70 injured when two buses collided with each other in Rahim Yar Khan on Khanpur road near Dharija phatak on Monday morning, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, two buses coming from opposite sides crashed into each other near Dharija Gate in Rahim Yar Khan, killing 27 passengers and injuring 70 others.
According to rescue sources, one of the buses involved in the accident was travelling from Karachi to Bahawalpur while the other was on its way from Faisalabad to Sadiqabad. Rescue team kick-started the relief activities.
The bodies of the dead and injured could only be recovered after cutting through the vehicles,â€Â police officials said.
The injured of the horrific accident were being shifted to nearby hospital for medical treatment.
