KARACHI: Eminent religious scholar Allama Shah Turab ul Haq Qadri, who passed away here on Thursday after protracted illness, was laid to rest at Khori Garden on Friday.
Earlier, the Namaz-i-Janaza was offered at the Boulton Market, M.A. Jinnah Road.
The funeral prayer of the deceased was led by Syed Shah Abdul Haq Qadri. A large number of people attended the Namaz-i-Janaza. They included religious scholars, people from various walks of life.
The central emir of Jamat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan,Allama Mazhar Saeed Kazmi and Mufti Munib Ur Rehman offered `Dua'.
Later, the mortal remain was brought to Memon Masjid Khor Garden for burial.
The deceased was laid to rest at the side of Allama Qari Muslaheuddin Siddiqui.
The son of Shah Turab ul Haq, Allama Shah Abdul Haq Qadri has announced that the mission of the deceased would be continued. Meanwhile, the leaders of religious, political and other organizations continued to offer their condolences of the demise of Allama Shah Turab ul Haq.
The Soyem of the deceased would be held on Saturday after Maghrib prayers at memon Masjid Khori Garden. -APP
