KARACHI: At least two gang war accused were killed after exchange of fire with police in Kalakot area of Karachi, while 48 suspects were arrested during search operation in different areas of the city, Aaj News reported.Â
According to details, police conducted an operation in Kalakot area of Karachi on Friday during which two Lyari gang war accused, belonging to Baba Ladla group, were killed,
Police sources said that the killed accused were involved in cracker attacks and murder of more than 20 people. Police also recovered arms and explosive material from their possession.
On the other hand, police carried out search operation in different parts of the city and arrested at least 48 suspects, including two accused.
According to the reports, search operations were conducted in Malir, Ghazi Goth, Shah Faisal, Guzri and Ittehad Town on intelligence reports.
