WEB DESK: CM Sindhi Murad Ali Shah says that the government of Sindh is capable of producing up to 800 megawatts of electricity, if the federal government could finance them to do so.
PTI has already submitted a resolution against high billing and load shedding in Sindh assembly. Khurram Sherzaman has also filed a resolution against K-Electric.
The resolution demands action to be taken by Sindh government against K-Electric, as well as, it seeks regression from NEPRA and NAB.
CM also informed the house that serious measures are being taken to deal with energy deficiency in Sindh. He also said that the government will provide 100 megawatts of electricity.
Shah also seeks approval from PM to start the electricity plant. He also said that Sindh government wants to start electricity plants in Lakhra, Noorianad, whereas, the plants in order to work are in process at Jhampir and Gharo. While scientist Dr. Samar Mubarak Mand has been hired to produce power from coal mines in Thar.
