Karachi: Police conducted a search operation in different areas of the city in the wee hours of Monday, detaining at least 30 suspects including gang war commander, allegedly involved in criminal activities, Aaj News reported. 

According to the reports, police conducted search operations in different localities of Lyari including Gul Mohammad Lane, Phool Pati Lane and Dubai Chowk.and arrested gang war commander Yasir Golden.

Police also conducted operation in PIB Colony and at least 30 suspects were taken into custody from PIB Colony’s Jhande Shah Graveyard area.

According to police officials, two suspects were arrested from Sea View area while they were trying to snatch weapons from the police constable. Police official got injured when suspects and police personnel exchanged fire during the operation. The arrested also include drug dealers.

Meanwhile, Jamshed Quarters' police arrested  a drug dealer and recovered drugs from his possession. Police have filed a case against him and started investigation.
