Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar had a telephonic conversation with Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal today.

Ambassador Zakhilwal on this occasion said that, there is no ban on holding of Pakistani currency in Afghanistan and it is freely convertible.

He also said that, certain media reports with a particular different portrayal are misleading.

The Finance Minister appreciated the clarification and expressed hope that it will facilitate the business activity between the two countries. -RadioPakistan
