LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed the Secretary Human Resource Development to make arrangements for the return of bodies of nine Pakistanis killed in a blaze in Kuwait.
PM said that, the return should be done by OPF in coordination with foreign office and Pakistan embassy in Kuwait.
PM also directed the foreign office and the OPF to get in touch with the bereaved families and make sure that they are kept informed. He said that, the compensation to the families should also be paid within three days.
In Kuwait, a nine-member Pakistani family was burnt to death when fire broke out at their home in Farwaniya area.
The dead included the head of the family Muhammad Asif, his wife, two sons, two daughters, mother, sister-in- law and a nephew.
Foreign Office spokesperson says Pakistan Embassy has deputed officials to facilitate transportation of bodies to Mian Channu. -Radio Pakistan
