KARACHI: Commissioner of Karachi, Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui has ordered immediate removal of unauthorized rickshaw and chinchi stands found to have emerged in different parts of the city.

The commissioner during his visit to Khatoon-e-Pakistan Girls College, here on Tuesday, also ordered that presence of vendors, push carts, alongwith rickshaws and other vehicles must not be allowed in front of any of the educational institutions and other facilities as hospitals.

Siddiqui also directed the officials of traffic police and anti-encroachment cell to see that no inconvenience is caused to public nor traffic flow is disturbed in any part of the city due to encroachment be it unmovable or movable as rickshaw or chinchi stands or make shifts markets.

Karachi commissioner said the city administration has already imposed restriction on fodder stalls and sale of sacrificial animals at sites other than those officially designated.
