CHITRAL: 'Phindi', the traditional festival of people in village Khozh was celebrated with enthusiasm and fervor in the picturesque village of Khozh in Tehsil Mastuj.

The event was organised by Chitral Association for Mountain Area Tourism (CAMAT) under SGAFP initiative to revive traditional games, festivals, foods and costumes.

More than 400 people, both male and female, participated in the event. The activities included traditional food competition, games and music.

Prominent social workers and cultural activist and senior villagers addressed opening and closing ceremony of the event.

Prizes were distributed amongst the best performers in various events of the festival.

In the end, the local community resolved to hold the event every year with traditional fervor and zeal.
