ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of renowned senior journalist and publisher Majid Nizami who passed away in Lahore after a prolonged illness. The President lauded his long meritorious services for journalism spanning over almost half a century. He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and for courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude. Senior Journalist, Chief-Editor and publisher of Nawa-i-Waqt Group of Publications, Majid Nizami breathed his last early Saturday. He was 86. Source : APP
