Huawei organized Golf Tournament in Islamabad

Huawei could not have picked a better season or venue for this occasion. Golfers and families flocked to the Islamabad Golf Club in a festive mood during this holiday season.

The one day tourney in Islamabad attracted around 110 amateur and veteran golfers, representing a diverse segment of Islamabad’s Government, corporate and business sector, making for a well competed event, providing healthy entertainment and promoting golf in Pakistan. Huawei presented a number of valuable prizes to winners and other participants.

Simon Geng, CEO Huawei Pakistan and a golf enthusiast himself, was chief guest for the event. “It is a great pleasure to host Huawei Golf Tournament in Islamabad. With our customers’ fervor and support, we will continue to bring healthy recreational activities to Pakistan in the coming years. I strongly believe with such continue support and enthusiasm we’ll transform this tournament into one of the most prestigious golf tournaments of Pakistan. We anticipate encouraging participation from all major cities and look forward for more successful events in upcoming year. ”

Huawei has always sought opportunities and fresh ideas to promote a healthier, more active lifestyle in the community. The 18-hole tournament was attended by around 300 people across the Islamabad region.

Their active participation turned it into lively sports activity. The event was really
appreciated by the guests who showed great interest in Huawei innovative solutions and its role in the development of telecom and IT industry of Pakistan. Similar tournaments will be held in Lahore and Karachi over the coming weeks.
