He said this while talking to Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch who met him here.
Both the leaders expressed satisfaction over the peaceful holding of local bodies elections in Balochistan and regarded it a good omen for the political future of the province.
They agreed that the process of political dialogue, reconciliation and building consensus would be continued in which Chief Minister Balochistan would play a leading role.
While expressing satisfaction over the overall security situation in Balochistan, they commended the role of security agencies and police.
The leaders agreed to fast-track the process of negotiations with various political and non-political groups.
Unlike the previous regimes this government would discourage the policy of arming any particular party or faction in the name of security and armed groups created by the previous governments would be disarmed.
The leaders observed that due to joint efforts of federal and provincial governments there has been improvement in the political, administrative and security situation in Balochistan in the past few months and joint efforts would be made to take this cooperation forward.
National Party Senator Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo was also present during the meeting.
