Arsalan showed his dissatisfaction over the impartiality of NAB and asked SC to review its verdict in his case. His counsel Sardar Ishaq submitted the petition today.
Arsalan also insisted to form a judicial commission in his case.
Earlier, Dr Arsalan Iftikhar, through a legal notice recently served on chairman NAB, has questioned the impartiality and legality of the NAB and its chief Admiral (R) Fasieh Bukhari to probe the Trapgate, arguing that the former naval chief and his family have had close relationship with Malik Riaz Hussian.
Through his counsel Dr Arsalan also objected to the role of the attorney general in referring the matter to NAB for probe, and argued that the AG had gone far beyond the mandate given to him by the hon’ble Supreme Court because of his bias against the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
