SKARDU: The death toll in Army's Helicopter crash in Skardu raised to Seven on Thursday.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, An Army aviation helicopter crashed near Skardu airport. Five individuals including the pilot have been reported dead and three have been reported injured as a result of the incident.
According to ISPR, the helicopter was on a test flight. The helicopter was an Army MI-17 aircraft.
According to sources, the helicopter flew on a test mission towards the Gayari sector early in the morning and caught fire while landing at the Skardu airport.
