Pallekele Test: Pakistan at 203-4

In the first innings of the Pallekele test match Pakistan scored 226 runs while Sri Lanka managing the lead of 111 runs against Pakistan, making 337 runs altogether.

Pakistan in their second inning, at the end of the third day scored 27 runs at the loss of 1 wicket. National team's only batsman sent back to pavilion was Taufeeq Umer who got out on the score of 4 runs by Kulasekara.

On day 4, Pakistan continued its second inning on the loss of 1 wicket with 27 runs and required 84 runs to equal Sri Lanka's  supremacy in the first innings. Pakistan's opening batsman Omar Hafeez and batsman to proceed one-down - Azhar Ali played a responsible inning managing a partnership of 94 runs.

At the score of 110, opening batsman Omar Hafeez, got out at 52 after managing 7th half-century of his test career. Pakistan cricket team managed a score of 119 runs at the loss of 2 wickets before lunch break, with having Azhar Ali 48 and Yonus Khan 2 runs on the crease.

The match  resumed after lunch break with the loss off 2 wickets Younus and Misbah on the score of 19 and 5 runs respectively.
