As per the new ranking list issued by FIFA, Pakistan climbed up 3 positions and was ranked at 178, ahead of Myanmar and Sri Lanka.
Spain tops the list due their consistent form and recent Euro 2012 victory. Germany on the other hand overtook Uruguay and climbed up to the number 2 spot while Uruguay was pushed back to number 3rd. England, though considered a quarter-final material, was able to achieve the 4th spot.
