Fire incident within Services Hospital; 6 toddlers dead

According to reports from AAJ TV correspondents, the fire erupted as a result of an electric short-circuit incident within the Services Hospital, located on the Jail Road of Lahore.

Reports have further indicated that the short-circuit occurred within the Air-conditioner's wiring, leading the oxygen cylinders to explode within the hospital. Reports have also hinted that the electricity system within the hospital was a very poor one.

The fire caused severe smoke within the ward. 4 of the 25 toddlers within the ward lost their lives immediately as a result of the fire and 2 of them later succumbed to the burns.
