Rangana Herath, the left arm spinner, has made a comeback to the Sir Lankan side after being dropped for the Asia Cup. Apart from this, all-rounders Thisara Perera and Angelo Mattews are also included in the line up. Speed maestro, Laseth Malinga has also returned after missing the second Twenty20.
As far as Pakistan’s lineup is concern, Imran Farhat is not part of the team, hence Azhar has been selected as an opener for this ODI.
Sohail tanvir who was impressive with his performance in the T20s has also been picked to offer more seam variety. Mohammad Sami  has also been included in the line up for ODI.

The Pakistani team is currently in a commanding position after being asked to bowl. After 13 overs, the Sri Lankan team has scored only 41 runs with five wickets down.
Umar Gul was quick enough to dismiss both the Sri Lankan openers in a hurry.
Sri Lankan captain, Mahela Jayawardena, was dismissed LBW to Umar Gul while Tillakaratne Dilshan was caught by Saeed Ajmal of Umar Gul's bowling after scoring only 5 runs. Both the openers were dismissed for a total of 12. The pace spearhead further dismissed Chandimal with the Sri Lanka team at 23.
Mohammad Sami has also grabbed crucial two wickets of Sangakarra and Angelo Matthews. The ODI is still underway with the Sri Lankan team struggling with five wickets down and a mere total of 41 runs.
