Pakistan sends Sri Lanka back at 188

Sri Lanka's bid to stay alive in the tournament got tougher, largely due to their own mistakes, as Pakistan restricted them to 188. A partnership of 96 runs between Kumar Sangakkara and Upul Tharanga gave a hope to Srilanka team to stay on the wicket but the steady fall of wickets increased the pressure on Kumar Sangakkara who himself was trying to attack Pakistani Bowlers.

Pakistani player Aizaz Cheema took 4 wickets while Saeed Ajmal took three.
Srilanka team was sent back to the Pavilion after scoring 188/10 by Pakistan.
Pakistan require 189 runs from 50 overs to win.
