Like many other remarkable singers of Pakistan Lohar has also gone across the border as a playback singer. He will be singing his immensely popular single, ‘Jugni for the movie ‘Diary of a Butterfly’. The film, in which Udita Goswami is playing the lead actress, is directed by Vinod Mukhi and produced by Rakesh Sabarwal.

The re-birth of Arif Lohar with Alif Allah was truly a soothing and more of a Sufi-like chant for the ears.

Talking in an interview he said,“I have my own distinctive style. I feel that every artist should have their own signature. I feel proud that Pakistani artists have made a mark globally, be it India or abroad and that they have now reached a point where they are recognised the world over".
