Surprisingly, FORCE is positioned exactly a week after MAUSAM and MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN hit the screens. There would be a mad scramble for the screens... "But we are supremely confident of FORCE. It's a film that holds pan-India appeal, merges action and romance seamlessly and should appeal to the single screen audience as well as those thronging the plexes," Vijay Singh, the head honcho of Fox Star, informs.
Fox would be using its clout in the international arena to give FORCE a wide release. "FORCE has a solid script. We've seen the edit and feel it has the merits to reach out to audiences outside India as well," he reasons. Incidentally, FORCE is the remake of the Tamil hit KAAKHA KAAKHA [Suriya, Jyothika] and the first look of the Hindi version, launched a few months ago, had met with incredible reactions.
FORCE is akin to an acid test for John Abraham, who needs to deliver a hit badly. "This could be the turning pointing in his career. What surprises me is that John has never been cast in an action film earlier, even though he has the physique to carry off such roles with elan. FORCE is his first attempt at an action role, which should also serve as its USP, besides a solid script," Vijay states.
