However, Dhanush seemed to be very surprised about rumours of kidney transplant for the veteran superstar doing the rounds. He has dismissed these reports and said, “The superstar’s health condition is super, and if he doesn’t return in 10 days, it means he is enjoying a vacation there.â€
Dhanush, who recently won Best Actor National Award for his film ‘Aadukulam’, has asked his fans not to believe in these rumours. He said, “He has not undergone a kidney transplant. Soon there will be a statement from the superstar himself.â€
Rajini, who has been assured complete privacy is doing fine and is enjoying a normal diet.
“We want him to stay in Singapore for at least a week so that he has more privacy. He is on a normal diet, is cheerful and is spending time walking, watching films and meditating,†said the superstar’s son-in-law.
The 61 year actor had been frequenting hospital since the last week of April owing to gastrointestinal and respiratory disorder. He was also suffering from renal failure and kidney complications.
"Doctors have found out the root cause of his trouble. It is something that can be reversed," Dhanush said.
On being advised by close friend and Bollywood heavyweight, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajini’s family admitted him to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. Big B now has a reason to feel relaxed on learning his good friend’s improving health condition.
Rajinikanth is expected to be back in India in ten days provided he does not feel the need to stay back there for a much needed vacation.
However, he knows he has a mammoth size of fan following back home, who are desperately awaiting to catch a glimpse of their favourite superstar. Rajini had promised them he would be back soon in his healthiest best form.
