Pakistan team for West Indies tour announced

Senior batsman Younis Khan along with Wicket-Keeper Kamran Akmal, All-rounder Abdul Razzaq and Bowler Umar Gul have have been dropped from the final squad.

"We have given Kamran Akmal a break because his wicketkeeping was not up to the mark during the World Cup," said chief selector Mohsin Khan.

Shahid Afridi has been retained as a captain of 16-player squad. The team includes Misbah-ul-Haq, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal, Asad Shafiq, Ahmad Shahzad, Saeed Ajmal, Taufeeq Umar, Tanveer Ahmad, Wahab Riaz, Abdur Rehman and fast bowler Junaid Khan.

Pakitan Cricket Team have got four young players. Wicket-Keeper Mohammad Salman, Sadaf Hussain, Usman Salahudin and All rounder Hammad Azam included in the team.

Uncapped Pakistan fast bowler Aizaz Cheema has been ruled out of this month's West Indies tour due to fitness problems.

Left-arm paceman Sadaf, 21, was the top wicket-taker in the recently concluded domestic season with 64 wickets and has taken 90 wickets in just 18 first class games.
