The first blast occurred near Eidgah police station in Li-Market area. Minutes later, the second blast hit Shah Latif Police Station in Malir.

There are no reports of any casualties, but Malir blast caused damage the wall of police station.

Police are investigating the incident. Police said that the low-intensity blast apparently caused by a cracker. Security has been beefed up across the provincial capital.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has taken notice of the blasts and ordered CCPO Karachi to summoned the investigation report.
