Sonam Kapoor who had planned the birthday bash with her siblings sister Rhea and brother Harsh with their mom Sunita helping out too for the great preparations for the bash had planned to be in town on the 24th of December this year for her dad's birthday, as this year the family has got together after many years and they wanted it to be an amazing party. The actress cannot fly down even for a day as reports are that there is a very important shoot in progress due to which she has not been granted permission by the film maker to leave in between.
Since Sonam Kapoor will not be able to make it to Mumbai, she has kept a constant touch with her family in order to be sure that every aspect of the surprise party is in place. The Kapoor siblings have ordered for a huge Christmas tree and reports are that it has already arrived at their front lawn.
The surprise bash has a list of special guests who have been invited by the Kapoor family which has all of Anil Kapoor's best friends from the industry. The list includes names like Bollywood hunk Salman Khan, top film makers like Indra Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, the coveted couple Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar and many others.
