The President in a condolence message to Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Mian Miraj Din, who passed away on Monday night.

The President Zardari prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with equanimity.

Mian Miraj, a younger brother of Mian Muhammad Sharif, was the father of Begum Nusrat, the wife of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
