"We approved the draft and we will notify the UN Security Council," Hamadeh told AFP after a cabinet meeting held hours after the resignation of a sixth pro-Syrian minister.
"There were no reservations on the final draft" of the text establishing a special tribunal into the massive February 14, 2005 bombing on the Beirut seafront that also killed 22 other people.
A UN probe, which is still underway, has implicated senior officials from Syria, which for decades was the power-broker in its smaller neighbour. Damascus strongly denies any connection with the killing.
