Major government buildings in Islamabad were illuminated to celebrate the signing of the defence agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.

The Presidency, Prime Minister’s House and Parliament buildings were decorated with colourful lights, while the national flags of the three countries were displayed along major roads across the federal capital.

Welcome banners highlighting the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement were also installed at prominent locations across Islamabad.

Many buildings have been illuminated to celebrate the “spirit of brotherhood” following the signing of the Makkah agreement.

Key locations across Islamabad, including Constitution Avenue, have been decorated with the national flags of the three countries, colourful lights and LED screens, drawing considerable attention from residents.

Celebrations marking the signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement will continue until Monday.

The national flags of Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia have been prominently displayed along Constitution Avenue, while Parliament House and other major government buildings have been illuminated with colourful lights and special electrical decorations.

LED screens installed at Kacheri Chowk and other prominent locations across the capital are showcasing the historic brotherly ties between Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, as well as their cooperation and shared commitment to defence.

At night, Constitution Avenue, adorned with the three countries’ flags, illuminated LED screens and brightly lit government buildings, presents a striking and vibrant view of Islamabad.

The decorations have not only enhanced the beauty of the federal capital but have also become a symbol of brotherhood, mutual trust, defence cooperation and shared commitment among Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.
