Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to undertake an official visit to Saudi Arabia on August 6 or 7, where he is likely to hold talks with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, according to sources.

The sources said preparations for the prime minister’s visit are underway, with discussions expected to focus on strengthening Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.

According to the sources, PM Shehbaz is expected to meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during the visit.

The two leaders are likely to review the overall state of bilateral relations and discuss ways to further enhance cooperation in trade, investment, energy and regional affairs.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia maintain longstanding strategic and economic ties, with the Kingdom remaining one of Pakistan’s key development and financial partners.
