Gold rates decline sharply in global and local markets
1 min readGold prices in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, the gold price per tola reached Rs424,136 after a decline of Rs5,600 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs363,628 after it fell by Rs4,801, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, the gold price per tola reached Rs429,736 after a decline of Rs3,800 during the day.
The international rate of gold declined by $56 to reach $4,017 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs50 to reach Rs6,289 per tola.
