A Lahore court on Wednesday extended the interim bail of PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar and his wife, Sameera, until July 2 in a case involving alleged harassment and death threats against actress Momina Iqbal.

Additional Sessions Judge Nusrat Ali Siddiqui heard the interim bail plea and directed the investigating officer to complete the probe.

During the hearing, the investigating officer informed the court that the accused’s mobile phones had been sent for forensic analysis and the investigation was still incomplete.

Advocate Rana Abdul Marouf appeared before the court on behalf of the accused.

The case was registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on the complaint of actress Momina Iqbal.

The court adjourned the hearing until July 2.
