Govt cuts petrol price by Rs4 per litre, diesel by Rs2
1 min readThe federal government on Friday reduced petroleum product prices for next week, providing some relief to consumers amid fluctuations in international oil markets.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the ex-depot price of petrol has been cut by Rs4 per litre to Rs373.78 from Rs377.78, while the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs2 per litre to Rs378.78 from Rs380.78.

The revised prices will take effect from June 13, 2026.
The latest reduction follows last week’s cut in petrol prices, when the government lowered the fuel rate by Rs4 per litre while keeping diesel prices unchanged.
