A fire burns, and smoke rises following an explosion which caused multiple casualties in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. -- Reuters

Seven have died ​from a ‌blast in China’s southwestern Guangxi ​region, a ​notice from local ⁠authorities showed, ​which also said ​an investigation was ongoing after ruling ​out gas ​pipeline issues as the ‌cause.

Seventeen ⁠more were injured and taken to ​the hospital, ​the ⁠notice said, adding that ​none of ​the ⁠injuries was life-threatening.
