Gold prices witnessed a sharp decline in both local and international markets, with the price of gold in Pakistan dropping by Rs15,500 per tola and Rs13,289 per 10 grams on Friday.

According to market figures, the price of one tola of gold fell to Rs476,862, while the rate for 10 grams declined to Rs488,832.

In the international market, gold prices dropped by $155 per ounce, bringing the rate down to $4,545 per ounce.
