Notorious drug trafficker 'Pinky' nabbed in Karachi operation
1 min readAlleged drug trafficker Anmol, also known as Pinky, was arrested on Tuesday in a major operation carried out by Karachi police in collaboration with federal agencies, sources said.
Anmol is accused of operating a vast narcotics network that extends across multiple cities in Pakistan.
According to police, the arrest was made in Karachi’s Garden area.
Pinky had not only been leading a well-organised drug distribution network but was also among the most wanted fugitives in dozens of criminal cases.
Authorities said that a pistol, ammunition, and high-quality drugs worth millions of rupees were recovered from her possession.
The sources revealed that Anmol’s network was so extensive that she employed female riders to distribute narcotics, helping her evade law enforcement surveillance.
Investigations indicate that her clientele included not only ordinary citizens but also students from educational institutions and several prominent figures.
According to police, Anmol was wanted in more than 10 cases, and her arrest is being viewed as a significant victory in the fight against drug trafficking.
New cases have been registered against her, and authorities are continuing their investigation to trace other operatives and individuals providing her shelter.
Officials believe that this arrest will deal a major blow to the city’s drug supply chains.
