UAE bans travel to Iran, Lebanon and Iraq amid regional tensions

The United Arab Emirates has announced a ban on travel for its nationals to Iran, Lebanon and Iraq, citing ongoing regional disturbances, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs also urged Emirati citizens currently in these countries to leave immediately and return to the UAE as soon as possible.

In its statement, the ministry said the decision is part of precautionary measures aimed at ensuring the safety and security of UAE nationals abroad.

It added that citizens in the affected countries should follow official guidelines and contact the ministry for assistance on +971 800 44444.

The UAE government said it will continue to monitor the situation and update travel advisories based on regional developments.
