Pakistan test-fires indigenous Fateh-II missile
1 min readPakistan on Tuesday conducted a successful training launch of the indigenously developed Fateh-II missile system, the military’s media wing said.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the launch was conducted by the Army Rocket Force Command as part of a training exercise aimed at enhancing operational preparedness and validating key technical parameters.
The ISPR said the Fateh-II missile system is equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids.
The exercise focused on troop training, evaluation of various subsystems, and assessment of the missile’s performance to ensure improved accuracy and survivability.
The training launch was witnessed by senior officers of the Army Rocket Force Command, officials from the Strategic Plans Division, as well as scientists and engineers from strategic organisations.
Military leadership praised the successful exercise, noting the progress in the development of the indigenous Fateh missile series.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and services chiefs congratulated the teams involved, commending their technical expertise, dedication, and commitment.
