Rock Hall of Fame announces 2026 Inductees
1 min readThe Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2026 inductees, with late R&B singer Luther Vandross, hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan and British rock band Oasis among the artists selected for this year’s honours.
The announcement was made on Monday, with a total of 18 artists recognised across multiple categories, celebrating performers and influential figures in music history.
In the Performer Category, this year’s inductees include Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Sade, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan.
The Early Influence Award will go to Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte and Gram Parsons, recognising their lasting impact on the development of music and culture.
Producer Rick Rubin is among those receiving the Musical Excellence Award, alongside Linda Creed, Arif Mardin and Jimmy Miller.
Television icon Ed Sullivan will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award, which honours non-performing industry figures who have significantly influenced the growth of rock and popular music.
Sullivan is widely remembered for introducing The Beatles to American television audiences through his long-running variety show.
The induction ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 14 at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles and will be broadcast later in December on ABC and Disney+.
