Gold prices continued their upward trajectory in domestic bullion markets on Monday, following the surge in international markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,100, reaching Rs491,462.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs943 to Rs421,349.

In the international market, gold prices also edged higher, rising by $11 to $4,687 per ounce.

The association reported that the price of silver per tola fell by Rs50 to Rs7,744 in the local market.
