Israeli military says four soldiers killed in southern Lebanon

The ​Israeli military ‌said ​on ​Tuesday that ⁠four ​of its ​personnel were ​killed ​and two were wounded ‌during ⁠combat in ​southern ​Lebanon, according to The Jerusalem Post.

The military named three of the fallen as Captain Noam Madmoni, Staff Sergeant Ben Cohen, and Staff Sergeant Maxsim Entis. The fourth soldier’s name has not yet been cleared for release.

Two additional soldiers were injured in the same incident, with one in serious condition and the other sustaining moderate wounds.

The IDF said the families of all affected personnel have been notified.

Since the start of Operation Roaring Lion on February 28, a total of nine IDF soldiers have been killed in Lebanon.
