PTI Punjab organiser Aliya Hamza arrested in Lahore
1 min readPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab Chief Organiser Aliya Hamza was arrested in Lahore, police sources confirmed on Thursday.
She was taken into custody from her residence in the Defence area and shifted to Shadman police station, where a case had already been registered against her.
Sources said she was later moved from the station to an undisclosed location. No official statement has yet been issued by authorities regarding her transfer.
Aliya Hamza had previously been convicted in multiple cases linked to the May 9 incidents and was sentenced to 10 years in each case. Further legal proceedings are expected.
