Mianwali survived a major terrorist attack, 6 terrorists were killed by their own comrades in an exchange of fire between the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and terrorists near Chapri Dam.

According to a CTD spokesperson, the CTD conducted an intelligence-based operation to arrest the terrorists, during which the terrorists opened fire on the CTD team.

Officials say that 6 dangerous terrorists were killed by their own comrades in the exchange of fire, while 8 terrorists managed to escape, taking advantage of the darkness.

According to the CTD, a suicide jacket, three hand grenades, a sub-machine gun, 200 bullets and other explosives have been recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.

The spokesperson says that this terrorist group had fully planned attacks on the police and other law enforcement agencies.

According to officials, the process of identifying the slain terrorists is underway, while a search operation is being conducted in the area to arrest the escaped terrorists.

The CTD says that a major terrorist plot has been foiled through timely action, and security agencies are continuously monitoring the situation.
