Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first in the first T20 match being played in Lahore on Thursday.

Pakistan aim to put up a challenging total given the pitch conditions.

Earlier, the Australian team arrived in Lahore on Wednesday morning. After the arrival of the visiting team, captains Salman Ali Agha and Mitchell Marsh unveiled the trophy.

He said that efforts have been made to make the pitches like Sri Lanka; if the players play to their potential, they can win the series.

Australian captain Mitchell Marsh said that Shaheen Afridi is a good bowler who is challenging for us, and the series will be good.

He said that Australian batters will try to attack the spinners. The conditions here will be challenging, but we have most of the players from the World Cup squad, he added.
