President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic fire incident at Karachi’s Gul Plaza.

They offered condolences to the families of the victims and emphasised support for those affected by the fire.

In a statement, President Zardari expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the tragic fire incident and conveyed his condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families.

The president directed the Sindh government and the relevant authorities to provide immediate support to the affected people and traders.

He stressed that the injured should be provided with all possible medical treatment.

The president also prayed for the recovery of the injured and for the bereaved families to bear the losses with fortitude.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the authorities to provide the best possible medical assistance to the injured and instructed that all possible help be provided to the affected traders.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the government stands in solidarity with the victims and their families, offering sympathy and support in the aftermath of the devastating incident.
