Oil and gas reserves discovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Nashpa block discovery expected to boost the national economy
New oil and gas reserves have been discovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nashpa block, according to the Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) on Thursday.
The estimated production from the new reserves is expected to be 4,100 barrels of oil per day and 10.5 million standard cubic feet of gas per day.
The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) confirmed the discovery in a statement.
The development is expected to increase local energy production and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
